Ultrasound

Ultrasound produces images of structures inside the body using sound waves instead of radiation.

MVP utilizes ultrasound to evaluate the blood flow in the arteries and veins in neck, abdomen, arms, and legs.

Ankle-Brachial Index

An ankle-brachial index, or ABI, is a test to evaluate blood flow to the legs by measuring the blood pressure at each ankle and the arm.

CT

CT (Computed Tomography) or CAT scan, uses a small amount of radiation to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body. In some instances, patients may be given an intravenous injection of contrast dye to better enhance the blood vessels and organs.

MRI

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses strong magnets and radio waves to create cross-sectional images of the body. No radiation is used. In some instances, patients may be given an intravenous injection of contrast dye to improve the visibility of blood vessels and organs.
